Meghalaya Police has released a notification for the recruitment of 1705 Sub-inspectors (UB/AB and Follower Group). Interested and eligible candidates may apply before 31 July 2016.

Eligible Criteria for Meghalaya Police Recruitment:
Educational Qualification:
• For UB/AB Sub Inspector: Degree in any stream
• For UB Group: Class IX and 12th passed
• For AB Group: Class IX passed
Age Limit (As on 01-01-2016):
• For UB/AB Sub-inspector: 22 to 27 years
• For UB Group & AB Group: 18 to 21 years
• For Follower Group: 18 to 27 years
Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test,
Written Examination, Trade Test and Interview.
